Byce & Associates, Inc. partnered with Viridis Design Group to provide Architectural, Electrical, Structural, and Mechanical Engineering Services for the Concession and Restroom Facility at the City of Sturgis Spence Softball Complex. The complex will serve adults and youth during spring, summer, and early fall months. The intent of the building is to serve the needs of patrons and players with concessions, restrooms, changing area, and gathering space for general information regarding games being played at the complex. The concession stand is designed to provide cover from the elements which could include rain or extremely hot temperatures. The covered area will also allow for table and chairs for patrons who choose to sit and watch the game.
The building will consist of Concessions of limited pre-prepared or packaged food and bottled refreshments, Men and Women’s restrooms which will accommodate an occupancy of 100 people, Mechanical/Electrical room accommodating a janitor sink, small heater, electrical water heater, electrical panels and electrical lighting controls, as well as data/communications and security boards.
