AIA Michigan Interior Honor Award

The American Institute of Architects Michigan has awarded the design team with the Interior Honor Award. The Newell Rubbermaid Design Center is situated on a 5.3 acre site, the project scope included the creation of 40,000 square feet of a new state of the art corporate design center. The new facility was designed to house all corporate design and engineering functions for Newell Rubbermaid product design and prototyping. The facility was required to be flexible and adaptable yet scaled in a manner to create a sense of place.
